- SAT verifies the actual installation and complete operating sequence. FAT records cannot directly replace site acceptance findings.
- Support each applicable inspection item with a measurement, observation, photograph or document reference. Track rectification items separately through closure.
- Spreadsheet formulas reflect record completion only. Equipment acceptance, conditions and restrictions require authorized signatures.
01Purpose
Use this form to inspect and record the pneumatic industrial manipulator and tooling after installation and commissioning. It covers transport condition, mounting, reach, site utilities, unloaded and loaded operation, tooling safety and the complete handling sequence, along with operating feel, supplied documents and training. Record the disposition of outstanding issues for the receiving party's review.
02Roles and responsibilities
- Customer equipment, process, production, maintenance and safety personnel.
- AUREK project personnel responsible for site installation, commissioning, training and delivery.
- Authorized representatives witnessing acceptance, reviewing outstanding issues or signing final receipt.
03How to use
| Step | Requirements |
|---|---|
| 1. Record the acceptance basis | Record the equipment, project, installation location, SAT date and approved technical and acceptance documents. |
| 2. Inspect installation | Check transport damage, structural connections, foundation or suspension mounting, bolt retention, vertical and horizontal alignment, and clearances. |
| 3. Verify function | Verify each pick-and-place point, travel coverage, air supply, leakage, unloaded full-stroke operation and the agreed load. |
| 4. Verify tooling safety | Use actual workpieces or verified equivalent loads to check fit, retention, release, pressure-loss response and personnel protection. |
| 5. Run representative sequences | Complete the entire pickup-to-placement sequence. Record turnover and positioning, actual cycle time, operating feel, noise, vibration and leakage. |
| 6. Complete handover | Check documents and training, list outstanding issues, and record acceptance conditions, restrictions and closure requirements before signing. |
04Acceptance scope
| Category | Typical checks |
|---|---|
| Installation and operating range | Layout, mounting, clearances, pick-and-place points, lifting and horizontal coverage, rotation and turnover directions, and interference. |
| Utilities and operation | Air quality and interfaces, sealing and leakage, filtration and drainage, unloaded full-stroke travel, the agreed load and cycle stability. |
| Tooling and safety | Workpiece fit, retention and release, unintended-release prevention, pressure loss, emergency stops, limits, buffers and warning labels. |
| Handover and personnel | Actual cycle time, operating experience, supplied documents, operator and maintenance training, abnormal-condition response and responsibility for outstanding issues. |
